Responsibilities:
Participates in design strategy sessions to generate ideas for solutions that meet user needs and goals.
Works with developers, engineers and clients to define UI design requirements.
Produces design concept documents and detailed wireframes to describe navigation schema, user tasks, and area flows for new product features or enhancements.
Applies existing design patterns and visual specifications to new and existing products.
Contributes to design patterns library.
Maintains product design documentation.

Qualifications:

Possesses time management, written and verbal communication skills
Works within priorities established by leaders
Strong knowledge of basic visual design principles
Strong color, typography, and layout design skills
Understanding of user-centered design principles
Understanding of animations
College-level experience or education in user experience design, interaction design, graphic design, information architecture, human factors, or a related field
1-3 years’ experience in user interface design for web-based software or technical web sites
Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
CSS and HTML skills a plus
